Personal Growth

[referring to her and Ben] I feel like I'm always you're always growing as a better communicator. And I think even during this, I've been just become more aware of ways that I am not listening for a while, I think I'm listening, but I'm not actually really listening. And then any time we level up in our skill set to hear each other, because we're totally different kinds of brains, we’re actually able to bring those brains on the same page. It's such a win when you learn new techniques to bring your minds into harmony and actually see what you're doing. 

Personal Support/Feedback

One of the reasons it's so cool to be part of a group like this is that a lot of the hardest things in your journey as an entrepreneur are the first chapters, the first miles of your drawing, and I call it the invisible hero, because you're on this journey. And nobody knows how hard the steps are. They see it when you're on chapter 100. "Wow, great," you know, but I don't know how many chapters were just silent. Silent like wondering, is this actually going to lead anywhere. So to have a group cheering you on as you're starting to pick up on all the energy you put in. We've been working on this for a long time. So to see certain things start to synergize and converge has been amazing. 

Business Wins

I think about our first info session with Lisa, before we were officially part of this. She gave us the idea of a subscription. So when we started this, we didn't even have a subscription in mind. Our target market was really niche, like the school model. And we weren't making any sales. I just think about that. But in three months or so, we've been able to pivot to a totally different product that does everything that we want to do right now and it has a much bigger opportunity. We can sell the previous product, but there's just a lot more synergy and to see that come together, it's kind of astonishing to me. And it was because of the groundwork. 

Clarity of Brand/Messaging

For me personally, that was such a breakthrough because I get bogged down sometimes by all the theoretical training. I have an arts education, where I think I have to prove it academically with all this stuff. But my VIP doesn't need that. They appreciate it, but that just can come out sort of subsurface. So I think actually finding this much more authentic voice that immediately resonates with my VIP and feels good. It feels natural to me and natural to them. So that's been such a win. It's just a win of communication, I guess
