Personal Growth
I was writing five days a week for 3-4 months. But then I started feeling like I just don't want to do this anymore. Now I'm seeing things differently. I'm seeing things through a purpose now. Before I was just kind of writing randomly. Now I see how to write more purposefully, to reach different people.

Clarity of Brand/Messaging
After participating in CAA, I was able to gain a clearer picture and a more logical way of thinking about my offers, and the messages to support them, so that I can serve, educate, and help more people.
I feel like I've made a lot of progress with clarity. It's amazing. I realized that I have I to have change; you don't know what you don't know until you start to like go through some of these exercises. Kind of having to crawl before you can walk before you can run and when you're missing those little subtleties you're jumping, you're jumping way ahead. It's really helped me with my mission. It's helped me with my clarity over what I'm doing as a whole, not just pieces of it. I can see how things are coming together if they're not quite there yet.
I'm also finding my voice. I had like a huge breakthrough this week with realizing that all along I was competing with the design world. This week, it dawned on me, what I do has nothing to do with the design. It has to do with the stuff that designers aren't focusing on. Even if they're questioning it, they're not focused on it. That's not their thing. Their thing is making things pretty, putting things together so they look pretty. There's a gap between what people need and the pretty, and nobody's really talking about that. That was huge for me. Finally everything clicked. That opened up all kinds of possibilities. That's opening up a possibility to do a book.
I'm also learning to find my voice. And that's good stuff.
Because of my work with Lisa, I've learned how to pare down my offers using language that is understandable and resonates. I met my goal of creating a logical action plan for my business; I now have several parts ready-to-go for my new homepage!
The personalized support was invaluable. Lisa has a way of putting things into words that only somebody who understands what you do from the outside could do. She got it right away and she gave me great feedback, lots of great ideas, and even made me rethink an area of business that I had backed away from that I think has changed the trajectory of my business to a more comfortable place for me.
Investment
You have to be willing to do the work and you have to be willing to take feedback, and you have to be willing to work with other people and think about things, but not overthink things. It's an investment, and I think you get out what you put in, but if you put in, you get more than you expect out of it. It's sometimes hard to realize that you have to invest in your business. We all don't have unlimited budgets...and unlimited time. It's a lot of work. Nobody is going to do the work for you, you have to be willing to do the work, write, share, and it is what you make of it. If you put the time in, you will reap enormous benefits on many different levels. If you don't and it's not a priority, you'll still get stuff out of it, but it won't lift you up the way you envision it can.
