Documenting the outcomes of blended learning curriculum
Challenge
Evergreen Education Group developed a series of case studies that profiled the success of schools who are using FuelEd curriculum. Evergreen needed the case studies formatted for maximum attractiveness and readability but also retain a level of visual austerity that's commonly associated with white papers. The case studies also needed to function as independent documents as well as a single compilation for print and digital distribution.
Solution
As project lead for Blue Marble Creative, Lisa oversaw the development of a flexible template that could accommodate varying lengths of content. Case study content was delivered over a span of many months, and as specific content needs warranted new aspects of the design, the template and previously laid out case studies were updated to ensure that the look and feel would remain consistent throughout. Information graphics, icons, and other visual elements such as sidebars and pull quotes, guide the reader through the material. For an introduction to the case studies series, a separate document with a cover was designed. These professionally designed case studies make FuelEd's successes tangible and strengthen its perceived value. Having individual and compiled case study documents in both print and digital formats has given FuelEd greater ability to customize the kind of information the company shares with its prospective clients.
